Google+ Launches Games!

Last week, Google+ launched its gaming feature. Right now, the game selection is limited, but you can bet the list will continue to grow like wildfire in the coming weeks and months. Facebook has shown tremendous success with the hundreds of games it has available and has millions of users each day. So what makes Google+ games different? Probably the most attractive quality of Google+ games is that you can share your results with friends without clogging up their stream. Game updates are not shown in your main stream, they are visible in a separate Games Stream found under the games tab. So your friends won’t have to block your constant stream of Farmville updates in their newsfeed, they only see your results when they’re ready to start gaming themselves.

Games also let you send fun messages to your friends sharing your scores and challenging your friends to beat them.

What’s your first impression of Google Games? Do you think Facebook has some competition on its hands? Let us know in the comments!
